We are excited to announce that we closed our Seed Funding round earlier this month.
QuickHelp was started in early 2019 to solve a problem in the Home Services space for both the modern day consumer – who had no choice but to stick to rehashed versions of yellow pages to get even the most basic tasks done, and the service provider – who due to the unorganized nature of the sector, couldn’t build a sustainable stream of income.
Our goal was simple – build a seamless booking experience for this modern day consumer, backed by a fulfillment guarantee that would ensure reliability, affordability, and accessibility, and to organize the Service Provider by upskilling their soft skills and help build a sustainable stream of income. It wasn’t as easy as it may sound, but with limited resources, we managed to reach over 10,000 homes and over 50 Service Partners who use QuickHelp’s platform regularly. Our efforts in organizing this space was also recognized in the form of the Aavishkaar Impact Award at Venture Engine 2021/2022.
With this fresh round of funding, we aim to get closer to realizing our goal and redefine how consumers interact with, and how Service Providers provide services. We are privileged to have the trust and support of a diverse set of partners who have joined this round – Lankan Angel Network’s Angel Fund, Dr. R De Silva from A1m Capital, and Bhanuka Harischandra from Viridian Fund, despite the ongoing economic crisis.
Over the next 15 months, we will be working hard to build a product that will redefine the service experience for you. We firmly believe that getting your personal tasks done, however basic or complex, should be an experience, rather than a chore, and with your continued support, we will work to turn this belief into a reality.
