  1. Cleaning and Disinfecting the most-touched surfaces daily

Door knobs, Light switches, Table surfaces, Kitchen Counters, TV remote controls and any other devices and surfaces which frequently needs to be cleaned and sanitized daily even if you don’t leave the house.

First remove any dusts or contaminants using a wet towel with soapy water and then apply a proper disinfectant.

  1. Washing clothes the usual way is safe enough

Washing clothes with regular laundry soap or washing powder and drying at a slightly higher temperature is all you need to do to disinfect your clothes. Now that the sun also decided to be warmer than usual, nothing to worry about!

  1. Any package that enters your home needs to be wiped with Disinfectant

The COVID-19 virus could live up to 24 hours on cardboard surfaces, so let’s not take a risk. Wipe the packages with disinfectant and you’re good to unpack.

How to make your own Bleach Disinfectant spray (DIY)

There are some easy DIY disinfectants you can make at home. One such disinfectant is a Bleach spray. As you know, you shouldn’t mix bleach with any other chemicals apart from the below recommended and also wear gloves when using it. Oh and open your windows! Ventilation is key.

  • 4 teaspoons household bleach
  • 1 quarter water
  • Pour both into one quart spray bottle, shake vigorously
  • Spray on surface to disinfect, let sit for 10 minutes, wipe away with wet cloth
